The effortless, optimistic, mellow, happy sound and the ability to maneuver between the ranges is what make Mohsin Abbas Haider a truly special performer. Never recognizing his talent until college when friends made him realize that he could sing, he eventually rode the wave to become the president of the music society. Due to the lack of a training facility in his hometown Faisalabad, Mohsin moved to Karachi in 2005 to search for greener pastures.

Formally trained by Ustad Salamat Ali, he launched himself with a Punjabi/folk track in 2009 and since then became a household name by appearing in more than 400 shows of a satire show on a local TV channel and performing more than 1000 tracks. Establishing himself in the lead role of ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ (2015), he’s currently working on other film projects as well as his own album with original work.

Mohsin Abbas Haider will make his debut appearance on Coke Studio, Season 9 with a great balance of energy entwined with beautiful lyrics.
